Material Take-offs on specific areas

What are some good ways to produce room specific material take-offis with Revit Architecture 2013? For example drywall take-offs for garage walls and ceiling or kitchen walls and ceiling.

Rob,

The best way to do this is to use the filters feature of the schedules themselves. You can call out your material of your GWB for the different areas, then filter a schedule for each of those. My guess is you're looking to quantify standard GWB of different thicknesses vs. High moisture GWB or Cement Board. If none of the standard parameters fit your needs, you can add a project parameter to help you with this as well.
