I specialize in designing and fabrication of office and Home furniture. I have always done my presentation with the use of AutoCAD alone, mostly in Black and white prints. I will like to get some information on our to add colours using applications like photoshop and corel-draw. Most important is what format to use in importing the drawing to such applications. Thanks

Hi, welcome to AUGI.

Do you draw (2D) or model (3D) the furniture?
If 3D, are you aware that you can assign materials to objects and render them?

Have you been able to get ahold of Impression from Autodesk? check with your reseller if not on subscription. that's one way to get presentation quality from dwg files.

Alternatively, see if you can create an PS printer in your version iof CAD, see screenshot from the Add a Ploter Wizard below. That should let you create a vector Postscript file that could ba starting point. As yet another option, google BetterWMF....
