wall footing with modified vertical structure

I have a foundation wall where I've modified the vertical structure so I can adjust the base of the frost wall. The problem I'm having is that I have an instance where the footing needs be be a bit lower than the slab. I don't want to show the frost wall going below the slab, but when I pull the frost wall edge up, I get a double wall footing at each "elevation"

I can't manipulate them, or delete them independently.

Maybe just using a simple concrete wall that goes from footing to slab is easier?

Yes, the wall footing is known for being difficult to handle in situations that are not typical.
Alternative of solution: use the beam tool instead of a wall foundation tool. That will give you more flexibility.
