Slanted concrete columns spanning multiple floors?

Hello,

I am trying to model concrete columns that are spanning multiple floors and I am hoping that I dont have to model them in single floor spans to get the linework to show correctly. Currently I have a slanted concrete column that starts at level 3 and the top is at level 18. The problem is that you see the hidden portion of the column that intersects the slab below and it is cumulative so the higher you go in plan view the more intersections you see (screen shot).

If anyone knows how to model concrete columns that span multiple floors and they look right in plan, I would really appreciate some advice.

on your view v/g settings, turn off structural column hidden lines, also I would set view range cut plan to very small value to show sloped column location just above floor level.
