I'm trying to figure out how to get this mullion from imbedding in the adjacent wall.

I created the curtainwall by editing the profile in place, but whenever I try to use the align tool to move that mullion to align with the exterior face of the perpendicular wall, I get the message:

"Line associated with a joined face has been moved. This action will cause the other walls to become disjoined from this face."

Then the mullion pops right back into the center of the wall.

I've tried using the Wall Joins adjustment, but that doesn't seem to work either.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Try moving the Curtain Grid. Tab until the Curtain Grid is selected, unpin it, then type in a new dimension, or use the Move command ( preferably in an elevation view ).

For some reason, this part of the curtainwall system does not have a Curtain Grid.

I've tried in plan and elevation to find one, but have been unable.
When in the plan view, I use tab while the cursor is directly on top of the mullion piece, and it will cycle through several things and back to the same mullion over and over without a curtain grid component ever becoming available.

Perhaps try using Add or Delete Segments to "restore" the missing grid.

Turn off everything except curtain walls in the view

If I add a new curtain grid near the imbedded mullion, I end up with two mullions close together, one positioned where I want it, and the other still imbedded in the wall.

Do you think the fact that "Edit Profile" was used could be responsible? The imbedded mullion isn't technically the 'end/edge of a wall' so maybe it's not creating a curtain grid?

I've attached an overall view of the wall to show how the profilie was edited.

Yes--Edit Profile could be part of it. Try resetting. Then adjust curtain grids, then Edit Profile.

I tried resetting the wall and adjusting the grids but I ended up where I started with the mullions poping back into the center of the adjacent wall.

For some reason, the edited profile will not stay aligned to the exterior face of the perpendicular wall. It keeps switching back to the centerline.
