to draw a line to convert to a profile need to be a 3dpoly, or can be a simple polyline. Have any diference?

You can create a quick profile from any of the objects you listed. However, a quick profile disappears when you save the drawing.

To create a profile you need an alignment. You can create an alignment from lines, arcs and 2D polylines.
