Default Search File Location

I have just started using Map 3D in a new company and when creating all the different files it automatically goes to C drive: Autochart/Cable Prelay Demostration Files.

Is there a way to change this to go to the last file location (current project) or if not to go to a different default location?

In my 2011 version when I data connect to a feature file it always goes to the last folder I used for that connection. Haven't noticed any difference in 2013.
