Hello,
I am trying to apply the curtain wall on face but the mullions generated are not vertical but they are following the inclineted edge (at right).

How can I make them all vertical ?

thanks

Is the wall vertical in section or does it slope? If it slopes, then you have hyperbolic paraboloid. If you created vertical mullions in elevation, they would not be straight, they would be curved.

The are vertical, and the mass is vertical...

how can I make the mullions vertical if the edges are not??

thanks

If it is all vertical, why are you using a mass-hosted wall? You could simply draw the wall, then use the edit profile to change the end angle.

If there are other reasons to use a mass-hosted wall, then I'd say make two masses, one with vertical, parallel ends, and another with the little left-over at the end.

It is becouse th on plan it is curved...
and if it is curved on plan I can not modify the profile.

Thanks for the tip
but is it possible to do it differently?

I understand about the plan. That helps clarify a bit.

That said, I really think that face of the mass is not actually vertical. How did you create the mass? In Revit or another program? If in Revit, you could try creating a vertical extrusion that follows the curve in plan then cut the end off at an angle with a void. That way you will be assured the face of the mass is vertical.

Thanks,
that's how I started,
but then the void wasnt read when applying the curtain wall.
The curain wall on mass was generated to match the original extrusion without the void cut-out...

If you started with a sketch on the level plane and generated a mass you would get vertical division. Can you post the family?

I think that is probably where things went wrong. It may look like it matches, but there must be the slightest of slight inaccuracy that makes it non-vertical. Fix the mass and you will fix your problem.
