I have 2 different Macs, a 2010 iMac i7 with Radeon HD 5750 1GB graphics and a 2006 Mac Pro 2xdual core xenon with a new Radeon HD 5770 1GB graphics card. Both have Parallels 8, Windows 7 64, and Revit 2013, and both exhibit the same behavior. When I first start up Revit, the display looks fine, but after a while, the model display window starts to go whacky, showing random lines that appear and disappear when zooming. See attached screen shots. When zooming in on a floor plan, parts of the model disappear and reappear based on the zoom level. I have to close Revit, restart, and the process starts over. The mac pro started exhibiting this behavior when I put in the 5770 a couple of months ago. The iMac has had no hardware changes, but all of a sudden started doing the same thing. It is very frustrating since I can't work for more than a few minutes without having to shut Revit down and restart. Is anyone else with this setup experiencing the same thing? Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot? Thanks.

I've abandoned virtualization for Revit a long time ago. I run bootcamp on a MBP with no problem at all. Of course look at the classic like card drivers but try to disable/enable Hardware acceleration within Revit to see if it helps.

I also run a 5770 1GB in my Dell XPS workstation. It's usually fine for me, and is BY FAR better than low-end nVIDIA Quadro cards (seriously overpriced for Revit duty) but IMHO it's not the best choice for Revit. Best choice in terms of cost vs. power is the current nVIDIA GeForce GTX 600-series cards. That may not be an option for you (changing graphics cards) but it's something to consider.
