Class Description: This lab will focus on approaches to modeling structural roof systems Steel-framed buildings with flat roofs, which are commonly found on commercial buildings, can be very tricky to model In most cases the steel members need to slope from ridge lines to roof drains, producing warped framing bays This lab will focus on the workflow necessary to create such a roof system, and how to make it as flexible as possible to accommodate changes that may be required during the design process
