Class Description: This session will demonstrate how to manage Government real estate property effectively using Autodesk Map 3D, Autodesk MapGuide, and Oracle Spatial. Learn about using these GIS tools to standardize generation, maintenance, querying, visualization, and analysis of spatial and tabular data across multiple facilities and multiple regions. Keep, edit, and share spatial data more efficiently by storing geometry and attribute data together in an Oracle Spatial database. Use MapGuide to permit users to search, extract, edit, report, and print facilities data from specific regions in a shared environment. Users of AutoCAD, AutoCAD Map, or other GIS products, as well as property planning/management professionals will benefit from this session.
