Hi! Can someone please explain how to create a "Curved Ramp". As usual I cannot find anything on this either on the web or any of the Revit Help sources. Not even in all the books I have.
Thanks
Paul

Do you want to use the Ramp family or something else? To create a ramp of any shape, simply start the ramp command and sketch what you want. The Ramp sketch tools include a straight run and an arcing run.

If you want something that follows a spline curve, you'll have to use a floor and Modify Sub Elements. Then you'll be able to draw whatever shape you want and manipulate point elevations however you want.

You could also do an in-place floor using a swept blend solid. You would have the same profile at each end, but at different elevations, which would be blended along the path you sketch.

Draw your curved floor in plan view and finish the floor. Select the floor and click "modify sub elements". once you have done that, click on one of the corners and give it an offset. This will offset that corner vertically up or down (depending if it negative). do this for each corner you wish to elevate. if your ramp isn't a continuous slope, you can add points, and specify their offsets as well.

hope this helps.
