Revit Truss - chords and web supports not meeting and joining

Hi guys,
I am not sure if this is how Revit handles trusses or not so I needed some advice from experts.

I know I can make my own family or in-place component of any shape I need it to be but if playing around with proper truss system this is what I get

is there a way in settings to make the chords and web supports join/cut each other to create an actual useable truss?
Please tell me I am doing something wrong.

Any hints or tips are welcome.

Hate to say this, but I think this is what Revit ends up doing. Hopefully I'm wrong.

If you use the built-in elements Revit wont clean up. I think that for structural analysis you need to use those tools.
What about using LOD to say show those at Coarse and remodel some clean geometry on top at Medium.Fine?
