Hi all,

I'm trying to learn revit better after using it for a couple of years. Now I got stuck when I try to edit the profile of a wall.
(see attachment)

When I select a wall and edit the profile; so I move the end line of the wall, it makes reference planes, or maybe those reference planes were already there.
I want to delete those reference planes. Why are they there and what are they doing! I dont want them.

Could someone explain how to delete those things?

Thanks,

Sef.

That will be the extents of the wall. You wont be able to delete that. Be careful though with editing profiles. if your intention is to use this method to change the length of a wall dont do it. Just change the length of the wall. Only use edit profile if you are changing the shape of the wall. Even then edit profile can be problematic so i tend to try and avoid using it if possible.
