is it possible to assign the default view template that will be assigned to all newly created views (section, plan...) in 2013? Thanks.

yes, you can make your own template.

just open a new project (it will let you choose one existing template) then modify all your viewdetails.
save it as a template (NOT as a project)

go to options and select default template folder; choose the folder in which you did save your new template.

get it?

Go to view>view templates and edit the template. I think the answer at your question is YES, but you have to check it out by your self. Just go to view>view templates.

tell me if i'm wrong or not ok?

I don't know. There used to be a check box (when you were managing view templates, not when you were applying one) on the bottom of the dialog to set the default. I don't see that option anymore.

The default View Templates are controlled by the Floor Plan Type, now. Go to View tab » Plan Views ▼ Floor Plan. Next to the pull-down at the top, there's a button "EditType...". From here, you can see that you can create different TYPES of Floor Plans. Also, in this dialog, you'll find "View Template applied to new views" and well as a dependency option.

Are you familiar with how the View Templates have drastically changed in Revit 2013? Typically, View are now "linked" to a Template, rather than it just being assigned and manually updated as required.
