Just want to know the proper way to create a two slope roof.

I've crated a standard roof by footprint, unfortunately when I change the two sides to be 0 degree slope, the system says " CAN'T CREATE A FOOTPRINT ROOF"

I also tried creating roof by extrusion unfortunately, I can't get the right way to have it aligned to the wall.

I want the slope to be on the longer wall and at front. The one I have attached is a little bit OK except that I only want it 2 slopes.

Please see attached file for your review.

Thanks

Ronald

change the properties of the sketch lines of the roof. You want to uncheck "Defines Slope" for two of the lines. (instead of setting the slope to zero)

Don't change the slope value to '0', instead select the line uncheck 'defines slope' in the option bar (above the view window) to define '0' slope. It will work.

Scot Davis, You are too fast. Before I could spellcheck my posting, yours was there already!
