Class Description: This session describes how AutoCAD Civil 3D has been used in the "Project Lead The Way civil engineering and architecture curriculum. A demonstration will show how to import data information from a site using Google Earth. You'll create parcels from existing plat maps, then do alignments, profiles, and assemblies in the creation of corridors. Drainage systems are added to the corridors using the piping functions and drainage ponds. The results are published back to Google Earth and exported to Revit for structure development. You'll discover how easy it is to implement Civil 3D into curriculum and how it can improve student performance.
