Instructor: dave espinosa-aguilar
Class Description: Requested by this instructor’s MAXScripting students for over 5 years, at last there is a class that picks up where “MAXScript for Autodesk VIZ, Level 1” leaves off. This lecture outlines sophisticated programming techniques to create and simulate sub-object animation, particle systems, space warps, and other powerful effects in Autodesk VIZ. We’ll explain line-by-line MAXScript code samples, and discuss more complex structures in VIZ including meshes, splines, vertices, materials, and lighting. MAXScript has been called the VIZequivalent technology of AutoCAD software’s AutoLISP, and once you master it, you can take VIZ in practically any direction you need to for increased productivity and amazing visualization. Classes like this at Autodesk University are rare -- if you’ve ever wanted to get a real handle on the internal guts of VIZ, you won’t want to miss this session.
