Instructors: Yan Schober and Todd Hunter

Class Description: The conceptual illustrations you use for communicating ideas to clients carry the signature of your firm in every brush and pencil stroke. In this class, practitioners of Autodesk Impression rendering will show you how to achieve a dynamic and personal look in digital presentations. You’ll see how to create Impression appearance styles inspired by your firm’s existing visual vocabulary, and how libraries of these signature styles permit groups of artists to collaborate on multiple drawings and achieve visual consistency. You’ll view a demonstration of techniques that create a signature look with entourage elements such as furniture, trees, cars, and people. In addition, the class will cover methods for bringing your current imagebased entourage libraries into Impression and techniques for applying image filters to achieve visual consistency. We’ll also present methods for colorizing existing vector libraries, such as .DWG.
