Class Description: Are you a current AutoCAD Land Desktop user interested in making the transition to AutoCAD Civil 3D, but are thinking it will be a difficult transition? Are you concerned that the Land Desktop experience you have is now useless? In this class, we'll use the perspective of a former Land Desktop user to separate fact from fiction about moving from Land Desktop to Civil 3D. We'll present the information in a typical project work flow, rather than simply feature by feature. Concepts discussed will include initial setup, Style Creation, Point Manipulation, Surface Modeling, Alignment Creation, Profile Creation, and Project Management. If you want to get off to a strong start with Civil 3D 2008 and need to know if you're pointed in the right direction, this class is for you.
