I know this is petty...but is there a way to have Revit open in a maximized window with a blank screen. I always have to max the window and close the default new project screen before I open the project I am working on.
I have searched all over and have found nowhere to change the setting default.

Clark,
First to have Revit open in a maximized window right click on the Revit icon then select Properties, then from the Run drop down list select maximized. Now for the other part of your question take a look at this thread CLICK TO SEE (http://www.zoogdesign.com/forums/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=24)

Thanks--
I should have thought of the Maximize thing
as far as opening Revit without a template that solution is better but still kind of a PITA... just have to get fast on the enter key at startup I guess.

What about opening the file directly from Explorer ?

OK! you got me. But with the Revit icon on the desktop or quick launch the other way is good. like I said before... quick on the enter button... in fact if I'm real quick I don't even see anything just here the beep.
