My section does not reference

I have a section placed on a sheet. When I go to the plan, I see that it's not referenced. I tried deleting the sheet and placing the section on a new sheet but I still cant see it referenced. What could bee the matter?

In the section view, make sure "Hide at scales coarser than" is set to show the scale of your plan (it's in the Properties palette).
