The attached jpegs show a corner of a building. It has a 5'-0" high concrete wall with a frame wall above. The walls in the picture are the same wall wrapped around a corner. The right side of the corner, the wall frame displays properly, the interior finish is a white vinyl material. On the left side of the corner the wall shows blue in "realistic" graphic display options and when rendered. When I switch to "consistent colours" option it shows as red. The material is set to "use render appearance". This behaviour is consistent in RAC 2013 as well.
anyone have any idea why, or how to fix. Thanks for your consideration

After a quick little 5 minute test it looks like it could have something to do with the material's surface pattern settings.

If it isn't this, I'm at a loss. But check it out just in case. I was able to get the render to be different than the consistent, but the realistic and the consistent were the same unlike your issue.

Hope this helps.

That seems to be the case. I set the surface pattern to none and it works fine.
Thanks Devin
