Hello,
I am currently trying to create new Appearance Property Sets in Revit 2012.
I was looking to do this as I have set up different materials for every type of wall finish in our job and wanted to assign the colour of paint finish to each material by property set as this would then use one separate appearance for all the materials to be painted a certain colour if I select use render appearance for shading (instead of setting up each material and colour individually).
When I attempt to create a new property set I can only create a new generic material but I would like to use one of the default materials (Metallic Paint) and then just change the colour of the material but when I try to do this it just reverts back to the default.
Am I doing something wrong here? Is this impossible.
