Are cut planes ONLY view specific?
In this project, which I posted earlier, I want to illustrate the lower level roof and upper floor framing plan in one view.
But to get the cut plane set correctly for the framing plan, I'm chopping off the top of the lower roof which reaches almost to the top of the second floor walls.
I would like to have a higher cut plane on the roof only. If I set the view cut plane higher, the second floor walls don't display properly. See the chopped portion of the roof in the attachment.
