I have a few issues with the stair tools. I'm trying to make a precast concrete stairs with tread ridges over ten floors

1. first issue is hat the last tread depth is larger that the other treads. http://www.flickr.com/photos/96950147@N03/8946255320/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/96950147@N03/8946255500/in/photostream/
The workaround is to convert tand edit the sketch and make the last tread shorter. However in plan view, it shows graphics incorrectly. http://www.flickr.com/photos/96950147@N03/8945633779/in/photostream/

2. I would like to start and end stairs with a landing. Is there are workaround for this using the stair tool landings (not floors)?

3. If I need to use a generic model family or floor for landings (if issue 2 can't be done using the stair tool) how can I start the stairs with a notch? If I uncheck the "start with riser" I get a weird piece hangong at the bottom. http://www.flickr.com/photos/96950147@N03/8945633553/in/photostream/

4. Is their a way to ad ridges to precast stairs using the stair function? http://teklastructures.support.tekla.com/190/en/modtool_65_help_ridges

1. There was a post some time ago, in which we discussed the lack of visibility control for those lines of the notches in plan view. There is no subcategory for those notch lines. Perhaps you could indicate with a note that this is a notch joint and not a tread.
2. Check this post: http://forums.augi.com/showthread.php?145279-Adding-a-landing-at-the-base-of-a-stair&p=1218427&viewfull=1#post1218427
3. If we can start the stair with landing, as in reply # 2, and if you use the precast stair type, I assume we can use the notch option there, too. (I have not tested this, though).
4. I have not seen a tool for this in Revit (2013). Probably that would have to be done as a custom family.
