Double room tags

When I Tag All for room tags (and include linked files), I get duplicate room tags everywhere. There is only one room (in the linked file) and none in the main file. Anybody know what's happening?

Create a room schedule, see how many rooms it shows. Any reporting redundant rooms for area. Review warnings would report it too. I've run into projects where people copied rooms and pasted them back on top of existing rooms more often than you'd think.

Just as a note, I box-selected an area in a room and it only showed one room selected... I'll try the scheduling, though.

do you have a linked model with rooms in it? this might be the cause, but i'm just guessing.

So, I think I got to the bottom of the problem: one of my team members had accidentally added the linked file to an Option Set, so there were multiple copies of the linked file in the model. Once we cleared that up, it no longer tagged rooms twice! Thanks for everybody's suggestions.
