Scaling Hatch Patterns

So am I to understand that Hatch's do not scale in Revit?

I made my roof system and set the hatch for rigid insulation. Looked great at 1/8"= 1'-0". started to work on wall sections at 1"=1'-0" and the hatch was to large so I switched to the small cross hatch offered. Looks great in the wall section, but now's it's to large in the building section. I can not seem to get a happy medium and am discovering Revit hatch patterns do not self-scale.

Does anyone how how I might be able to achieve an insulation hatch that looks good at both scales?

Unfortunately no....I have a wishlist item out there somewhere that filters should apply to fill patterns too. I have a linebased fill pattern for my details and sections since what it shows in plans is more dominant.

Drafting hatch patterns are scaled at 1 : 1, so they will have the same line spacing whatever the scale of your view. But I don't understand why you would be concerned about a hatch scale for a view that's at 1/8" = 1'-0"; it's way too small to see any pattern when plotted!
