DWFproblems with Revit?

I send my drawing sheets to an outside plotting service using prn files, but because the files are so large, I have started plotting to DWF format, but some linework gets dropped, not by the plotter, but by DWF Writer,because it's not there when I view the DWF file. I sometimes cover/modify dimensions with extra information using text with an opaque background, but DWF Writer also ignores the opaque background, causing the text below to show through as well. Has anyone else encountered this? I went back to prn files and everything looks like I intended.

Yes I have also encountered this type of behavior as well. However I did find that if you set you appearance settings to color everything seems to correct itself. I have enclosed a screen capture so you take a look at the settings that we are using. I hope this helps, it worked for me!
