I have a revit file that was already upgrade to 2014 version. NOW our engineer want the previous version (2013) . Is there an easy method change 2014 back to 2013 .or change revit file into navis file or sth else .
thanks a lot!

Sorry Revit has never offered a Save As to older versions. You can export your model to a compatible Navisworks format if that will work for them. I they are using Revit then I doubt it. They really need to upgrade to the same version. With Revit it is very important that an entire project team upgrades a project together, at an agreed upon time. If a firm is seriously using Revit this shouldn't come as a surprise either.

You DID make a backup of the 2013 file before you converted it, didn't you?

This ^^....Always keep the previous version for a few weeks after an update...for those "just in case" issues....(of course we forget about them usually until the building is built and IT is yelling at us to make room on the server drive)

Not a great solution, but I read somewhere of exporting the newer file as an IFC, then opening it up in the older version. Never done it, and I believe you lose a great deal of info, but perhaps worth a try?
