I've created this type of roof many times before in other versions of Revit. However I'm unable to create this roof in version 2013. The Sketch image shows my work. The dark arrows were added to show you where the sketch lines are broken between those which define a slope and those which do not. The resultant Wrong Roof image is… Wrong. The Right Roof image was created by creating and joining 2 roofs. The problem with using this method is apparent in 2 elevations, 2 sections, and 3 three-dimensional views. What am I missing?

Try two slope arrows facing eachother and overlayed on boundary sketch. --><-- Head of arrows at the ridge of gable, foot of arrows at base of gable. Two arrows each gable.

Thx. I9306893067t didn't work with 2 arrows facing each other, but it did work with only one arrow per Gable.

I think it didn't work with the 2 arrows on each gable because you already had that slope-defining line running across the bottom of the image. If you turned that off then the arrows probably would have worked.

Nice work, though. I usually end up doing separate roofs, and if the intersecting one has a taller peak I have to do a small little 3rd roof to make up the difference above the peak of the other roof. Your way is better. :)
