my revit 2014 will not install

I had previously installed but had to uninstall. Now when I try to install, I cant. I went back the the web page to download the program but I keep getting an error that says the following:

Please remove "npfdm.dll" file in the plugin directory of your browser.

any suggestions?

Try uninstalling free download manager for your browser. There are a lot of website showing you how to remove them manually if the DLL still persist.

Google that file. I found several pages explaining how to remove npfdm.dll
