Vaulted Roof to follow Stair slope

I am creating a set of walkway stairs that naturally slope. At the end of each flight there is a landing & another flight etc. I need to cover this set of stair flights with a curved or semi circular roof. Can anyone tell me how I can do this please.

Go to "Architecture tab" (2014, might be home tab in 2012)/then component, then "Model in Place" (roof catagory) and create youself a sweep.
"Trick" set a named Ref plane down the center line of your stairs to draw you sweep path on the just sketch the profile you want.

mbalsom's method would work, but if you wanted to try an experiment, you could try a railing. All you would need is to create a railing profile and when you host the railing to the stair it would automatically follow the slope. The part that may give you trouble is the joints as it transitions to and from the landing. I gave it a quick test and it looks like it will generally work. It will just be the details that may or may not be to your liking.
