We have several schedules in our template that show an underline below the column headers, and no grid lines in the schedule body itself. We use this format for pretty much all note block schedules. However now in 2014 it seems you have to use the border settings to get an underline below a row, and then it will only show if the grid lines are visible.

Does anyone know of a way to get our schedules looking the way we had them before 2014?

Select the header and click the Font button in the Appearance tab

That's not it. On previous versions our schedules had the "Underline" box checked next to "Show Headers". That put a continuous line all the way across the width of the schedule below the column titles. Now it appears that is not possible in 2014 unless grid lines are turned on, unless somehow I'm missing it?

OK, i know what you mean. Now it works like in Excel. Grab the cells and right-click. Edit Borders and there you go

Attached images show the difference between our 2013 sheet list and 2014 sheet list. Can't see a way to get the 2014 list to look like the 2013 one.

Gotcha. No you cant because the Border options is an overwrite to the actual grid. Turn them off, there's nothing to overwrite.

The work around is to use a white border and overwrite the headers

Okay I think I got it. I had to make a new line type called White Grid Lines, and I set it to color 252-252-252, and set the schedule grid lines to that line type. Then I had to select both column header cells, go to Borders, and set it to a thicker, black line type.

Would be nice if the <Invisible Lines> type was available to use for schedule grid lines.

*edit* you responded as I was typing this one. We have found that sometimes true White lines will still print out as black, which is why I pulled it back off of full white just a touch.
