Tips for drawing spiral duct...

Please provide tips on some best ways to draw spiral duct. I am working on a project that will have exposed spiral duct hung from the ceiling. We are putting together a 3d drawing to show the owner what it will look like.

I am using Revit Architecture 2013 software. I was planning on making a family of the duct and unit or possible a model in place component.

I found some spiral duct that I could use at Revit City.

I would suggest opening and dissecting the family you downloaded, so that you can see how it's made and maybe apply it on future families, or also to make any changes you need to make to improve upon it or adapt it to your office standards.
