View Full Version : 2014 View corruption in Revit

I have been having a recurring problem with my default 3d view in revit where every few weeks or so it appears to corrupt itself – displaying lines in wireframe that should be hidden in a shaded or hidden line view. (Image attached). It only happens in a single view at a time, and it clears up if I delete it and recreate the view, but I would rather not since I lose any view specific work when that happens.
Has anyone here seen this before or know what causes it to happen?93079

I'm not entirely certain on this, but I'm guessing you didn't rename your 3D View, right? I could be wrong, but I seem to recall something that pertained to this; renaming the View to something other that the default name might help or altogether alleviate this issue. (This would be something from previous Revit releases, but I'm assuming it's the same situation...)

We had the same thing happened a year ago, it was a video card update that fixed it. It was also very random

Update the video card, and also make sure you're running the latest service pack update for Revit 2014.

I updated the video card and that seems to be working. Thanks for your help.
