Material Tag

Hi,

Is there a way to tag item material that does not match its real material and without changing tags to other objects that share its material ???

This question is a bit confusing for me. Let's say you have four cabinets, three of which are Oak. The fourth one you want to be Maple. You want to use the same cabinet (Casework family) for all four instances, but you want the Maple cabinet to be differentiated from the other tags by having the Material Tag read Maple instead of Oak. If this is what you are asking, I think you need to make another type of that cabinet and change the material to Maple. Only then will the Material Tag display Maple, and not Oak.
