I have a new HP LaserJet 1160 and I cannot get this new printer to print from AutoCAD 2000. AutoCAD returns an error message: "Printing has been disabled due to drive incompatability. Are you completely sure this is an Hewlett-Packard device?"
HP says to go to CONFIG --> PLOTTING TAB --> USE AS DEFAULT OUTPUT DEVICE
--> OK. When plotting, I get the above message. Then I get an HPPREVIEW, the a blank sheet of paper out of the printer.
I did not have any problem with the HP LaserJet 6L before it was destroyed in a flood.
Any suggestions or cures?
