Why can't we Tag Curtain Wall Mullions?

Why doesn't revit have curtain wall tags?
You can make a mullion schedule, give it a type mark, etc, just like everything else, but you can't give it regular tag with a type mark label or anything like that.
You can keynote it, but our projects use type marks for almost everything.

The curtain wall is tagged using a wall tag. If you want a different graphic appearance to separate it from other wall tags, you can modify the family and save as. If you are talking about tagging the Curtain wall mullion, you are correct, there does not appear to be a way to do this, either with a category specific tag or a multi-category tag. One work around other than the keynote is to use a material tag which will tag the Description parameter of the material assigned to the mullion. This would function similarly to a type mark given that you create a unique material for the mullion since the material is a type parameter. Pretty similar to the keynote workaround.
