Is there a quick way to update detail lines to meet new standards?

So I've got 500+ drafting views in our detail library that I need to get updated to meet our new standards. As far as I know, the only way to change a "Medium-Thin" detail line to a "(2) Continuous" line is to select it in the view and change it. Are there any (free) tools out there that will automate this process?

Can't you just go in and select the line style, then change the name and the attributes to your new standard?
