We have an office building with lots of ceilings. Our electrical consultant is placing Revit lights in his MEP model using face-hosted fixture families, and placing them on the bottom face of the ceilings. This is always how it has worked. However there is one ceiling in our model, that when he places a light on it, the light fixture itself appears up and to the left, on the other side of the building. If the light is placed far enough left in the ceiling, it shows up outside the building!

This is only one one particular ceiling. It appears to be the same as all the other ceilings in every respect. Any ideas why this might happen?

Sounds buggy, but if that one is the generic ceiling, the positive face, "normal" is upside down on that system family, shouldn't use it. They can just click the Flip Work plane icon that appears when they select their fixture in the meantime.

It's our standard lay-in ceiling. Same ceiling everywhere in the building, and the lights host fine in every other ceiling except for the one in this one corridor.

I deleted and recreated the ceiling in the same place, and it seems to work fine when placing the MEP light. Very weird.
