Hello,

I was attemping to make 2 different elevation tags that could be visually managed by subcategories. After making the tag families with objects on different subcategories within "Elevation Marks", I noticed the category in VG was named differently in the RVT model - "Elevations", and the subcategories that were created in the families were nowhere to be found in the model. See attached image.

I started the family by selecting a standard elevation tag in the RVT model, then Edit Family.

If this has already been discussed, a link or thread title would be great.

Thanks

I don't recall if I've ever tried to create annotation sub-categories but if you are looking to control visibility in various views you can do this by creating filters to find elevation markers by type name.

Much better solution, will be giving that a try today. Thank you very much.
