I get the following error message when trying to open file from Vault with an instance of Inventor already running. If I click yes the file will open but the message is annoying. Is this a bug or something that can be turned off?
Cannot download "xxxxxx.ipj" due to vault restrictions.
Do you want to continue downloading non-restricted files
Restriction
C:\Working\xxxx.ipj is in use by another process and cannot be accessed
File "xxxxx.ipj" is checked out to another user. You cannot overwrite a file
that is checked out to somebody else while in a shared working folder
Problem solved! I had checked my project file under my administrator account, then logged off and logged back in with my normal user account. It seems in doing this vault thought that my working folder was a shared folder thus causing the problem listed above
