Former Employee forgot to save to central before leaving company....

We had someone on our design team leave the company and they did not save to central on a project and now I cannot edit a pump schedule and IT has informed that his computer profile has already been wiped clean....is it possible to create a new central file using my local and get rid of his ownership of those elements in the new file?

If you go under options, general tab, you can change the username iniitals. Change them to the former employee that left and open up project file. Save to central and relinquish all elements. Then go back and change the username back to your initials and open project up and make your changes.

You can also Detach from Central and overwrite the central model. Just make sure everyone else working in the file has synced and make a backup.
