Hi I'm quite new to Revit and going thru the growing pains of trying to create simple geomtry in revit. I need to be able to make my "Model Lines" line tangent to a circle! I am working directly in a project & using these model lines to constrain my Beams to them.
Any ideas!
Thanks

Revit has snaps and snap overrides, check if your snaps are on, look at manage tab, you should see your snap settings. also right click while placing lines for popup snaps. Also you should see snap markers on screen, sim. to AutoCAD. You should be able to use the draw tool while placing beams with bends, curves, fillets, and tangents without using model lines for constrains if you wish, snaps will work with placing beams.

Thanks Dmahan! I see the snaps now. They were on. There's just some much going on in Revit especially when modelling in the project. Temporary dims all over the place. A real adventure this is. Especially trying to find help on certain topics. This is one of the most difficult learning curves have ever had with a software in my life. Sure hope it starts to flow a little better soon.
