Floor Pattern Problem

I have edited the sub elements of a floor to show slope for a sidewalk.
However because there is a curve in my floor it curves my finish pattern.
Anybody know how to remedy this?
A diagonal slope arrow works but it is impossible to get all my corners at the right elevation with just a slope arrow.
Any ideas?

Wow as soon as I posted this question I found a solution.
I needed to switch "Curved Edge Condition" from "Conform to curve" to "Project to side". That seemed to have worked.
