DBL. Clicking Families

I'm new to 2013. Is there anyway to turn OFF the double click action that opens families? This is very annoying.

Not in 2013. I believe they did add that option in 2014, but I haven't played with it yet.

Dave is correct. It is hard coded in 2013 to open families, but in '14 you can set Double Click to do different things. Bad 2013, bad...

The only work around that I've found is not-that-great... I the windows control panel, you can adjust the mouse settings so a double click needs to be really, really fast. I means that you need to click super fast to open folders and stuff. But it reduces the double clicking in families.
