Parts command - eliminate a part in a future Phase

I have an existing wall in which I divided into "parts" using the parts command in REVIT 2014. The generic wall is one part and the tile finish is a separate part. I would like to display the existing half height 6x6 wall tile in the Demolition Phase for bidding purposes. But then I would like to show new full height 12x12 wall tile in the New Construction Phase. How do I remove this original tile part and create a new tile part in the new Phase?

Don't do this with Parts. Build the 6x6 tile in existing as its own wall. Join to the generic wall if it makes sense. Demo the 6x6 wall and build a new 12x12 wall. It's a lot cleaner.

I thought about this approach but then I wanted to see if the PARTS command would work in this instance. Guess not.
