Summary: Select objects at group level which desribes the objects and/or have show in the line item takeoff.
Description: Being able to drag and drop at group level would be very valuable. This may not be possible with way software works however a better object description is needed. For example, with steel takeoff we care about weight and maybe length and one broad category of “Steel Columns” is all we need. It is tedious to create a line item for each different type of piece of steel in order to quantify. However, it is helpful to know what type of object is for each item taken off. Maybe this can be added to the object level name. For example if the Object description was noted as “W14X43 W-Wide Flange Column” would be okay because you could tell by line item the size of the member w/o having to create a line item for W14x43, W12x50, etc
