Revit & 3dsMax 2014 Rendering ???

So we have finally installed the 2014 BDS Premium on all the computers within our firm. This took a while due to the fact that we had quite a few XP64 machines in the office. My question today is...

We now have 5 computers with Windows XP64 on them that we would like to use as a render farm. Can I even use these computers for a render farm with 3dsMax 2014 and Backburner 2014?

How are people with older computers using them as render farms with the 2014 products?

Unfortunately, all my XP64 machines are now only viable for admin staff or as remote LMI terminals. I'm not aware of a way to leverage this hardware with any of the 2014 products.

That is really unfortunate. I guess an alternative is maybe getting a Windows 7 upgrade for these XP64 computers, but that seems pricey.
